WILDLIFE SHOT OF THE WEEK
Wildlife photographers willing to share one or more of their favorite photos of our local animals are encouraged to contact us at dicknewell@octrackers.net. We will post your photo for a few weeks and of course credit you as you wish. The photo should have been taken "recently" in Orange County.
This month's photo of the Common Egret (Ardea alba) was graciously contributed by wildlife photographer Mike Daugherty. Before the Western Fence lizard (Sceloporus occidentalis) can be consumed it must be flipped around so it can be consumed face first.
