WILDLIFE SHOT OF THE WEEK
Wildlife photographers willing to share one or more of their favorite photos of our local animals are encouraged to contact us at dicknewell@octrackers.net. We will post your photo for a few weeks and of course credit you as you wish. The photo should have been taken "recently" in Orange County.

The long-tailed weasel (Mustela franata) is occasionally seen exiting the abandoned hole or burrow of another animal. They are fairly common in the grasslands around Orange County.
