The trail width of this insect track measures about 1/2" and it was found in center of a dirt road in a local canyon here in Orange County. There are no water features in the area and the plant community would be described as Coastal Sage Scrub. To date we have been unable to positively determine the maker and so for the first time, we are asking for your suggestions as to the species. Other insects found in the area previously include millipedes, darkling beetles, Jerusalem crickets, scorpions and tarantulas.

As always, have fun in the dirt and let us know if you can identify this track.
